{Infographic} Email Marketing vs. Lead Nurturing

How much do you know about the balance and difference between Email Marketing and Lead Nurturing?

It’s a constant battle to keep your business on the forefront of consumer’s minds.  If you hammer out the email marketing concept used by many and “blast” them too much with irrelevant correspondence just to keep your name fresh, more than likely you’re going to see a rise in unsubscribe actions.  If you take the time to talk directly to your audience in a way that helps them feel like they aren’t part of a mass grouping of targeting, they tend to listen a little better at what you have to say.

Marketing to your audience is a beautifully choreographed dance between marketer and consumer.  You’ve got to find the right rhythm and not step on too many toes.

When implementing a campaign of any sort, you want to make sure the campaign has these 5 features:

  1. Reach
  2. Focus
  3. Punch
  4. Timing
  5. Impact

In this infographic from Marketstar, you can see how each of those 5 features differ between using email marketing or lead nurturing as your marketing process.  And while I made a dancing reference earlier in the post, their infographic does a knock-out job with a boxing reference.
